Are your cloths "HOT" this summer?

Last week we carried out a fairly simple job of replacing some old 30W halogen light fittings in some bedroom cupboards.

The lights are controlled with some "push to break" switches which turn the lights on as the cupboard doors open and there were severn in total. The reason we were called in to replacement was three fold.
1) The existing 30W halogen light fittings were inefficient. and replacement bulbs are now very hard to get hold of with only 'old stock' being available.
2) The existing fittings were getting very brittle with the heat given off by the halogen bulbs and some of them were starting to fall apart.
3) The final straw was when one of the cupboard doors was not shut properly due to an item of clothing getting caught in the door, the light stayed on all day and got extremely hot. as a result of this, a jumper which was very close to light fitting actually melted ruining the jumper but also very nearly causing a fire.

We replaced these old halogen strip lights with modern LED cupboard lights which are more efficient and don't get any more than warm,
regardless of how long they are on for.
They also have the added benefit they are warrantied for 5 years and they have a switch enabling you to chose between warm white and cool white depending on your preference.
