FAQ's

  • How can I contact you for support?
    As a small family-run business, we encourage customers to reach out via email at info@rokelectrics.co.uk or through our contact form on the website. We aim to respond promptly to all inquiries.
  • What are our working hours?
    We generally work between 9am and 5pm on domestic jobs as this avoids the school rush in the mornings. We can start earlier and or finish later if required.
  • Do we charge our clients VAT?
    Unfortunately for our domestic clients, by law we have to charge VAT at 20% on all our invoices.
  • What area do we cover?
    We work in Surrey, West Sussex, and Hampshire. We do work outside these areas if required but please emailing us to discuss this first.
  • Do we clean up at the end of every day?
    We have a very stringent policy of leaving a job slightly cleaner than when we arrived, this is because we are aware that one of the biggest complaints our customers have with other trades is the mess left at the end. We use high quality static dust sheets usually employed in the motor trade for spray painting to cover everything that may get dusty to ensure the clean up is simple and easy and we use Henry hoovers with HEPA filters to ensure all types of dust are captured.
  • How much experience do you have in the electrical industry?
    We have over 18 years of experience serving customer in Haslemere and the surrounding area. ROK Electrics Ltd was established in 2012 but ROK Electrics actually started trading in 2007.
  • Are we registered with a governing body?
    ROK Electrics Ltd is registered with the NICEIC the leading and longest
  • Can we certify our work?
    As a full member of the NICEIC we can certificate all of our work wether domestic or commercial and register it with building control if required. This means we can satisfy all the requirements of insurance companies, planning permissions and creates a paper trail for anyone in the future to know what we did and when.
  • Do we provide a Warranty?
    All of our work carries a 7 year warranty on our labour and at least a 1 year warranty on parts. Our work is also covered by the NICEIC Platinum Promise to give you additional peace of mind.
  • Do we install and maintain EV chargers?
    Unlike the majority of companies we pride ourselves on taking on all EV Charger installations including the weird and wonderful.
  • Do you handle large-scale projects?
    Yes, we have experience handling large-scale projects, including a notable project, involving a 63-acre estate with nearly 300 garden lights and Dilapidated stone barn conversion to high end Air BnB.
  • Do we do emergency call outs?
    We do not run an emergency call out service but we do try our best to support our clients when a fault arises out of the blue.
  • What types of electrical services do you provide?
    ROK Electrics Ltd offers a wide range of electrical services including domestic and commercial electrical installations, electrical testing including EICR's indoor and outdoor lighting designs, home automation, heating controls, and network cabling.
